Here at Counter Culture Organic Farm, we take pride in our food from the moment we plant the seed on our USDA Certified Organic farm until it hits your countertop. Our goal is to grow high-quality fresh produce and craft delicious, farm-based food and ferments like kimchi, sauerkraut, cornmeal, tempeh, and more. What we can’t or don’t yet grow ourselves, we source from other certified organic farms. As of February 2018, all of our products are made from 86-100% (by weight) on-farm produce!
We grow a diverse mix of fresh produce on Counter Culture Organic Farm in Waialua. We grow consistent, year-round crops as well as some seasonal fruits and roots.
Our chickens and ducks spend their days outside on our Waialua certified organic farm scratching for bugs, eating wild plants, and dining on certified organic feed. Raised in accordance with the highest animal welfare standards in the U.S. and Canada, their eggs taste and look how real eggs should.
Our certified organic, probiotic Spicy Daikon Pear Kimchi has no rival. Crafted from our farm’s purple daikon, onion, and green onion.
A ferment with teeth: our certified organic Great White Kimchi has flavor with bite but holds the spice. A white kimchi with pac choi, carrot, shiitake mushrooms, pine nuts, and turmeric root.
Polenta, grits, and cornbread taste incredible with our certified organic “Nalo Orange” Cornmeal. Ditch the stale, pulverized cornmeal you find in the supermarket and sample our non-GMO gold that we grow and mill ourselves in Waialua.
You’ll never be able to go back to bland, grocery store tempeh again. Our savory tempeh is made from certified organic beans and grains grown on Counter Culture Farm in Waialua. Locally grown and crafted.
